KNIGHTS TEMPLARS - Private Tour

Located in the Nabão valley, where once there were Roman cities, the region of Tomar is full of heritage and culture.

In this Templar city, we can admire the Seven Hills Park; the Church of Santa Maria do Olival (where there are many tombs of masters of the Order of Christ); one of the oldest synagogues in Portugal and the Convent of Christ, UNESCO World Heritage, which illustrates seven centuries of history in Portugal.

In Tomar you’ll learn about the life and works of Gualdim Pais, a Portuguese crusader and Templar monk.

We will end this visit seeing the 180 arches of the Pegões Aqueduct, connecting to the Convent.
